Bridge Hospice, a division of Blanchard Valley Health System, will host its annual “Light Up a Life” tree-lighting ceremonies in Bowling Green and Findlay in December. 

Through a tree-lighting and candle-lighting ceremony, loves ones who have passed will be honored. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Bowling Green ceremony is Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 5:30 p.m. in the Georgian Room at Heritage Corner, located at 1069 Klotz Road, Bowling Green.

The Findlay ceremony is Thursday, Dec. 5, at 5:30 p.m. in The Chapel at Birchaven Village,15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay.

Jodi and Don Brauen will hold Brauen's Gourds Christmas open house this weekend.

The event is north of Ada, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at 7140 Tom Fett Road, Bluffton.

Ruthie's Boarding Room, 220 N. Main St., Ada, has the Christmas spirit expressed in its window display. The store opened this fall and offers many gift-related items.

Two sessions remain on 2019 regular meeting schedule

Ada council will consider action affecting the village in 2020 at Tuesday’s council meeting. The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers (this is a change in location - previously announced at the depot) . Click here for the complete Tuesday agenda.
