This fall's elementary picture day takes place on Thursday, Oct. 10, for Kindergarten through sixth grade students.

A Girl Scout troop formation meeting takes place this week in Ada.

The meeting is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 26, in the Ada elementary school cafeteria.

Colllins walked along the Harvest and Herb Festival parade line up as floats arrived, selfies were taken, bands tuned up, and participants spent time awaiting for the parade to start.
