Three year presence at state tournaments

Mercy Health, a Catholic health ministry serving Ohio and Kentucky announces that it will serve as the exclusive Official Health Care Partner of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) for three years. OHSAA promotes the values of participation in interscholastic athletics as an integral part of a student's educational experience.

Ohio Northern University’s VITA tax preparation program recognized 

for proficiency while providing service-learning experience

Ohio Northern University’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program was recently recognized by the Beta Alpha Psi national accounting and finance honorary for processing the most tax returns per member for the 2017 tax year.

The VITA program provides both community service for area residents and career preparation for Ohio Northern students.

In terms of community service, the VITA Program offers free tax help to persons who generally make $55,000 or less who need assistance in preparing their tax returns.

Five presenters are announced for the Friday, March 29, Girls Empowerment Conference luncheon at The Inn on the ONU campus.

This is the fourth annual Women LEAD event. This year’s keynote presentation is a celebration of outstanding Hardin County Women’s Professionals sharing their perspective on life, success and living passionately.
