The next meeting of the Ada School Board will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, in the board room at the school. There will be a planning session in addition to the board meeting.
Ada native Ernie Daugherty was sworn in as a new member of the Ada School board on Wednesday evening.
Certificates of appreciation were awarded to board members Ron Fleming, Nancy Wood Allison, Amy Mullins, Matt Gossman and Daugherty. Pastor Tom Dearth was honored last month for his many years of service to the board. Supt. Meri Skilliter said, “We are grateful for a dedicated, diverse group of people who make this district’s students the center of all decisions.”
Ada Village Council will host a public meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2, at Community Health Professionals, 1200 S. Main. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Willeke Avenue phase 1 reconstruction project.
