Sodexo begins catering service in Ada area

Company handles dining areas on campus

Sodexo, the food service that has operated the dining areas at ONU for many years, is beginning a catering service for the campus and Ada area.

To introduce their new effort, called Flavours, Sodexo held an open house in McIntosh Center ballroom on Tuesday, to showcase the various offerings to university officials and community leaders.

The fare offered is extensive and the table settings are beautiful.

One table setting was decorated with earth tones to go along with Earth Week which is being observed nationally this week.

New Leaf has your lawn and garden needs

New Leaf Landscape and Garden Center, 0395 State Route 235, Ada, has all your needs for spring lawns and gardens.

The center has a large selection of nursery stock, flowering plants, trees and shrubs, perennials, vegetable seeds and plants, garden supplies and mulches and soils.

Hour are:
Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ada's McDonald's Restaurant has a break for viewers on Tuesday.

It will offer a special promotion for its guests on Tuesday, April 18. Customers who buy a Big Mac or Quarter Pounder with Cheese can get the second for just 18 cents.
 
“Our customers look forward to our tax day special every year,” said Jerry Lewis, local McDonald’s owner/operator. “This promotion is just another way we offer great value.”
 
This promotion is available on Tuesday, April 18, at McDonald’s in Lima, Bluffton, Delphos, Ada, Van Wert, Beaverdam, Ottawa, Upper Sandusky, Carey, Kenton, and Hicksville.

LNB offers free shredding service

Liberty National Bank will offer a free shredding service the week of May 1. It is estimated that 9 million Americans have their identities stolen each year.
Individuals may drop off unwanted paperwork to be destroyed that week during regular business hours. The bank will accept up to 5 boxes, 20 inches wide by 10 inches high.

This is a free service to the community to help fight identity theft.

ONU pharmacy students have free health fair at Greg's Pharmacy

In Bluffton Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Greg's Pharmacy, 126 N. Main St., Bluffton, will hold a free health fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, according to Andrea Williams, manager.

Ohio Northern University pharmacy students from the National Community Pharmacist Association (NCPA) will be at Greg's to provide the following free services:
• Cholesterol screening (please fast for 8 hours)
• Bone density screening (osteoporosis)
• Blood glucose tesing (please fast for 8 hours)
• Blood pressure checks
