The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Holiday Happy Hour at the Regal Beagle during Third Thursday, December 18, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.
The festive gathering will take the place of the regular monthly membership meeting. Director Lindsay Hollar says, this is "a great opportunity to relax, connect with fellow members, and enjoy some holiday cheer in a casual setting.
"We hope you’ll stop by to celebrate the season, network with friends and colleagues, and enjoy everything Third Thursday has to offer downtown.
MEDIA RELEASE––The United Way of Hardin County held its third Student Leadership-United meeting of the 2025–26 school year on December 3 at Ridgemont High School. The session featured a presentation from Amanda Raines of the Ohio State University Extension Office, who spoke to students about strategies for managing stress.
As part of America 250 celebrations, the State of Ohio has created an Ohio Innovation Trail to illustrate that "Ohio has produced wave after wave of problem-solvers whose ideas reshape how we move, manufacture, protect, power, feed, and heal – then and now." Early on a chilly mid-November day, a Village of Ada crew welcomed Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce volunteers for a morning of happy work, decorating Depot Park for the holidays.
Numerous red tubs were pulled from the Depot, filled with garlands, strings of lights, spotlights and red ribbons. Foreman Joe Hefner encouraged "Santa's elves" to go for it, but also provided guidance on what goes where. Village employees are also decorating Main St. light poles.
FROM FACEBOOK__Beatitudes community center has announced that its annual window raffle fundraiser runs through November 20.
Tickets are $1.00 each.
Drawing at 12 Noon on Friday, November 21. All winners will be called after the drawing. Pickup is that day and the following day from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit Beatitudes outreach programs.
