June is Effective Communications Month. And it’s a good idea to recognize the importance of good communications, because it plays a role in almost every aspect of living – including your finances.
You’ll want to clearly communicate your financial goals to your loved ones – and you’ll want to hear theirs, too.
Let’s look at some of the communications you might have with family members:
There’s a new coffee shop in Ada. And, several new businesses are open with several opening soon. It’s all happening at 123-125 E. Buckeye Avenue, Ada.
Owners, Amber and Nick Simon and Fred and Kathy Rowe, purchased that large red building on Buckeye last May and have completed a major renovation of the inside.
Prior to the purchase by the new owners, the building housed Health Trends and Railhouse Gym.
“We are excited and beyond blessed to be able to bring some life to our little corner of Ada,” said Amber.
A grand reopening of Vicki’s Music Studio and Noteworthy Community Choir is set for 5 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, June 4, at the studio, 2613 State Route 81, Ada, according to Vicki Mills, studio owner.
“We invite all interested persons to visit our studio, meet our instructors and register for all summer classes and camps,” said Mills.
“You may sign up for private piano or voice lessons,” she said. “And, don’t forget to enter our drawings for tuition discounts plus a grand prize of a full summer tuition remission.”
Morgan Ellis is the new director of chamber and tourism.
She has previous experience as an employment and job training specialist at the West Ohio Community Action Partnership and as a law clerk at the Hardin County Prosecutor's Office. She has degrees from Ohio Northern University and University of Findlay.
Ellis has also been involved in the operation of the Pfeiffer Station General Store, a small Kenton business owned by her family.
