Alger Public Libary announces that its preschool Story Times are held on Mondays at 5 p.m., according to Stacey Hensley, library director.
"Children from ages 3 to 6 (with a favorite adult) have fun with engaging books, songs and activities as they build their early literacy skills," she said.
The library is located at 100 W. Wagner St., Alger.

Alger Public Library will host author, Jennifer (Walter) Cannon, in a 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 24, meet and greet, according to Stacey Hensley, library director.

Cannon has been a writer most of her life and has spent some time as a journalist. “Spoons and Needles” is her first published novella.

Allen and Hardin for Election Action & Democracy (AHEAD) will hold a rally at the gazebo in the Lima Town Square at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17, to call for the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
The rally will call on lawmakers to defend the Constitution.
Mr Trump faces two charges:
● abusing his presidential power by asking Ukraine to investigate his 2020 rival Joe Biden while holding military aid as leverage
● obstructing Congress by blocking the House’s efforts to probe his actions.
