FROM BLUFFTON ICON – The Bluffton community’s 16th annual Fall Festival, with many family-oriented activities, takes place throughout the community on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
New this year, Bluffton Family Recreation will host a “Kickoff Event” on Friday, Sept. 27, beginning at 5 p.m.

A speakeasy comes to Ada on Saturday, Sept. 28, and you are invited.
The Inn at ONU hosts a speakeasy cabaret from 7 to 9 p.m. offering a chance to travel back in time to the Roaring 1920s Prohibition era.
The evening includes appetizers, sparkling beverages and the sound of gold age jazz standards performed by the ONU Musical Theatre Class of 2020.
Tickets are $35 per guest. Reservation are required and seating is limited. To reserve your seat, call The Inn at 419-772-4112. A portion of the proceeds benefit the ONU musical theatre class.
The Inn at ONU is located at 401 W. College Ave., Ada.
The Area Agency on Aging 3 will host an event to promote Falls Prevention Awareness Day on Monday, Sept. 23, from 10 a.m. to noon. at the Area Agency on Aging 3, 2423 Allentown Road, Lima, next to Tom Ahl and across from Walmart.
Several community partners, including two Ada and one Bluffton organizations, will participate to educate, increase awareness, and help provide resources on falls and fall prevention for our older adults.
• Ohio Northern will set up its mobile clinic bus, conducting bone density screenings for osteopenia/osteoporosis.
• Community Health Professionals and Adaptive Medical Marketing will offer information and assistance.
Mayor David Retterer announced that Ada's village trick-or-treat night will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31.

The Ada Historical Society will hold its regular monthly (September) meeting on Monday, Sept. 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room at the Ada Public Library, 320 N. Main Street, Ada.
