Icon viewers are invited to join the second annual Family & Consumer Sciences Day—the national celebration that educates families about the importance of preparing healthy meals and “dining in” together.
Families are encouraged to "Dine In" on Saturday, Dec. 3, by preparing and eating a healthy meal together.

Apollo Career Center, 3325 Shawnee Road, Lima will hold its 26th annual Christmas at Apollo Craft Show Saturday, Dec. 5, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Admission is $2, children 12 and under are free. The proceeds from the craft show are divided among the Apollo student clubs to fund community service projects and assist students competing at state and national competitions.
One of the largest shows in the region, Apollo Career Center hosts over 100 crafters.

Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio provides a monthly support group for caregivers.
The group meets on the third Monday of each month, except December, from 3:30-4:30 pm. The group meets in the library at Mennonite Memorial Home, 410 W. Elm St., Bluffton.

There will be a spaghetti dinner and bowling benefit for Amelia Griffin at Norada Lanes, 1182 SR 235, on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Dinner will be served from 2 to 5 p.m. Kids bowling will start at 3 p.m. Adult Scotch mixed doubles will begin at 6 p.m.
Dinner is $8. Bowling is $5 for children and $30 a couple.
Amelia is the daughter of Beau and Christina Griffin. Her brothers are Jude, 7, and Willie, 3. Four-year-old Amelia has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
The 29th annual Christmas Around the Square Craft Fair takes place in Kenton on Saturday, Nov. 14.
The craft fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Hardin County Historic Courthouse in downtown Kenton.
Sponsored by the Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance, the Craft Fair features three floors filled with arts, crafts, and home party dealers. The Kenton Top 20 will perform holiday music at 9:30 a.m. Homemade food is provided by the Hardin County Homemakers.

The 38th annual Ada Music Feast Show Choir Invitational Competition is Saturday, Nov. 7, at Ada High School.
This year’s program features talented young men and women from 14 visiting show choirs from Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana. Ada Varsity Singers, under the direction of Abigail Glenn, vocal music director and Jonathan Lischak, director of instrumental and co-director, will also provide an exhibition performance as the host school for this day-long event.
