Ever hear of Percy Kilbride or Marjorie Main? How about Ma and Pa Kettle? It ages you if you know them. Then it goes that you'd probably appreciate a good Ma and Pa Kettle movie, if your remember them.
That's what ReStore Community Center, 210 N. Main St., Ada, figures. This week is your chance.
ReStore will show the Ma and Pa Kettle in "Back on the Farm." The free movie is at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 4, at ReStore.
The plot is pretty complex: The Kettles leave their ultra-modern home and return to the country looking for uranium. Ma and Tom's mother-in-law, Mrs. Parker, fight over whether their grandchild will be raised "hygienically".

The 44th annual downtown event moves to the third Saturday of May this year, making it Saturday, May 16. In recent years it was held on the Saturday prior to Mother's Day.

Kenton Toy Collectors Club will be holding the 3rd Annual Kenton Toy Collectors Cast Iron Toy Show, Feb. 21; 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. , at the Hardin County Historical Museum 223 N. Main St., Kenton.

The Ada Academic and Music Boosters will co-sponsor a purse raffle during Valentine’s Day weekend.
The fundraiser will support academic endeavors/activites and music programs at the Ada Schools. The fundraiser is at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 15, at the Ada VFW.
Tickets are $15 and include snacks and a chance at several door prizes. There are designer purses, lia Sophia jewelry, 31 items and other prizes totaling over $2,500.
Raffle tickets can be purchased for those who will be unable to attend, which includes a chance to win a first prize of a Coach purse, second prize of a Coach wristlet, and a third prize of $25 in cash.
The Ada Senior Citizens will meet at noon Wednesday, Jan. 28, in the Community Health Professional building for pizza and card games and/or board games.
