The 13th annual Ada Athletic Boosters Reverse Raffle will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Harrod Event Center, with doors opening at 4:30 p.m.
Organizers are currently posting previews of raffle baskets on the boosters Facebook page. In the attached sample, Ada Bulldogs Boys Basketball is donating a WEBER Charcoal Grill, 10-piece Grilling Set, 12-piece Dinnerware Set and Plastic Tablecloth.
The fourth Annual Vancrest of Ada Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 2:00 p.m. on April 1. The event is open to Vancrest residents, staff families and the community.

2:15 p.m. Peewee Hoppers (0-2 years old)
2:30 p.m. Cotton Tails (3-5 years old)
2:45 p.m. Young Bunnies (6-8 years old)
3:00 p.m. Roger Rabbits (60+ years old)
The Easter Bunny will Hop on over to visit during egg hunting.

The League of Women Voters of the Lima Area will hold an informational meeting on Honesty for Ohio Education-Book Banning at 6:30 p.m.on Tuesday, March 28 at the Lima Public Library, 650 W. Market St. Lima.
The guest speaker will be Cynthia Peeples, who will be joined by Professor Kathleen Baril of Ohio Northern University. This meeting is open to the public.
FINDLAY- If you have a passion for photography or if you want to learn, come along on a hike with fellow photographers to capture the beauty of area parks through the lens of the camera. At this Findlay Hancock Park District event, participants will hike the trails taking photos of scenery, wildlife, plants, and anything else that would make an interesting subject. All skill levels and camera types are welcome.
LIMA– The Lima Area Youth Orchestra will be performing their final concert of the season at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26 at Lima Senior High School,1 Spartan Way, Lima.
The theme of this year-end concert is “The Classics: Inside Out!” The program highlights how music can convey a multitude of emotions, such as Joy (Finale from Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony and Schubert’s Lebenslust), Fun (Jupiter from Holst’s Planets), Mystery (Mozart’s Abduction from the Seraglio), Pride (Dvorak’s New World Symphony), Sadness (Weep O Mine Eyes by Bennet), Longing (Oceans and Stars by Beron), and others. Closing the concert is a medley of Beatle’s tunes.
