The United Way of Hardin County has unveiled a new event, the “That’s Putting it Nicely” Golf Outing on June 22.
Golfers will have a 9:00 a.m shotgun start at the Veterans Memorial Park Golf Course in Kenton. Pricing is based on course membership and golf cart ownership. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, lunch and prize opportunities.
Participate either by sending a foursome or by sponsoring a hole or cart. There are also opportunities for Hole in One sponsors.

The April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse is bringing with it a virtual storm of eclipse advice and promotions. The Icon readership area spans four counties, quadrupling the amount of information available.
The Hardin County Cattle Producers will hold their annual Beef Banquet on Saturday, March 23 in the Community Building at the fairgrounds, starting at 6:30 p.m.
St. Mark Lutheran--at the corner of Lincoln and Johnson in Ada--will serve it's free community meal on Wednesday, February 28, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. (or until they run out).
The menu is tuna noodle casserole, peas and carrots, roll, fruit, and a cookie. The meal is free and open to the public.
You may dine in, carry out, or drive up for curbside pickup.
The Hardin County Pork Producers will hold their annual Pork Banquet at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 16 at the Upper Scioto Valley School auditorium in McGuffey.
