See members of the Ada High School girls basketball team or a coach to purchase tickets for a Midwest BBQ Dinner fundraiser for the Ada Girls Basketball Fund.

Tickets are $12 and include 1/2 chicken, Mac n cheese, green beans and a dinner roll.

A Storybook Breakfast of pancakes and sausage benefiting Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Hardin County will be held on  from 8:00-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 21 at the Moose Lodge in Kenton, lower level.

Buy presale tickets from any Hardin County Library--including the Ada Public Library--and save $1 per ticket.

The 11th Annual Purse Raffle, hosted by the Ada Academic and Music Booster groups is scheduled for February 19. 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in McIntosh Center at Ohio Northern.

A 3 Purse Virtual Raffle is also planned.

Full tables are sold out. Currently, half tables and individual seats are on sale. Organizers note: "If you miss the last FULL TABLE, don't worry! If you purchase two HALF TABLE'S we will make sure you sit together! Folk's who purchase individual seats do not have a problem finding seats together with friends either.

"And finally: we will continue to sell any open seats up until the start of the first game of BINGO!"

The Alger Public Library has announced a free Teen Movie night at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Darby and the Dead will be shown. This movie is rated PG-13 by the MPAA for strong language, suggestive material and some teen partying.

Fresh Popcorn and drinks will be provided. The library suggests bringing blankets pillows to help you enjoy the show.

The works of Ohio Northern University alumni Laura Barnhardt Corle (BFA ’77) and Ed Corle (BFA ’78) are now on view at the Lea Art Gallery at the University of Findlay.

The faculty exhibit opens the 2023 gallery season and runs until January 27.

A reception is scheduled for Wednesday, January 18, 7-8:30 p.m. at the Lea Gallery, Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion, UF Campus.
