Here's some - but not all Ada seventh graders in the 1972-73 school year. If you watch carefully you'll eventually see more members of this class, graduating in 1978.

Wins recorded by women's lacrosse, women's soccer and volleyball

Here an update of ONU sports action from this past weekend.

Volleyball
The Ohio Northern Volleyball team began its 2020-21 season by sweeping Marietta 3-1 and 3-2 on Friday night at ONU Sports Center.

With both wins, the Polar Bears start the season 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, and the Pioneers fall to 0-2, 0-2.

In the first match, Northern defeated Marietta 20-25, 25-12, 25-18, 27-25.

Freshman Ava Ehlinger (New Carlisle/Tecumseh) led ONU with 14 kills and .367 hitting percentage in the match.

MC won the first set, and ONU responded by winning three consecutive sets to win the match.

Ohio Northern University HealthWise Pharmacy will hold its next covid-19 vaccination clinic this week.

The clinic is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, March 19. Vacciination appointments are for persons 50 and older, or with qualifying occupations or medical conditions.

Ada school board will meet at 5 p.m., Thursday, March 18. This is the regular monthly meeting in addition to a planning session on the agenda.

Ada income tax revenue down as a result of covid-19

Ada council will meet on Tuesday with several local issues on the agenda.

Council is expected to enter executive session to discuss negotiations with the sergeants bargaining unit.

A second issue includes a letter to council from Andrea Hall, 622 Clint Drive, concerning the intersection of Main Street and Lima Avenue.
