The Super Bowl may be three and half weeks behind us, but this story involving Wilson's and an ONU student in the making of a Super Bowl commericial is worth re-telling.

But that’s exactly what happened to Ohio Northern University student Mark Niles Jr.

The Mental Health Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize and Hardin Counties will hold a series of free programs focusing on the struggle to overcome grief.
The programs take place in the Ada Public Library from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays, March 6, through May 8, according to Chris Estes, Prevention Marketing Specialist, LOSS Team Coordinator.
Representatives from Central Collection Agency (CCA) will be on site at the Depot on Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The representatives will provided assistance with Village of Ada income taxes.
The village contracts with CCA to assist with the management of collection of income taxes.

The seventh-seeded Ohio Northern women's basketball team nearly completed an improbable run to the NCAA Division III Tournament Saturday, but fell to top-seeded John Carroll 61-58 in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Finals inside the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center.
Northern ends the season at 15-13 overall after appearing in its third consecutive OAC Tournament Finals, having knocked off second-seeded Baldwin Wallace and third-seeded Marietta to reach the championship game. The Polar Bears became the lowest seed to reach the finals since JCU in 2011, also as a seven seed.

The Ada wrestling squad competed in the 15-team Div. III sectional wrestling meet at Lima Central Catholic Friday and Saturday.
Junior heavyweight Noah Arnett finished fifth in the 285 lbs. division. He won two of his four matches, including the fifth-place bout, to end up 16-10 this season.
