Hardin County Herb Society has several activities planned this year

The Hardin County Herb Society kicked off the 2016 growing season with a meeting at the Amherst Greenhouse near Harrod.

Mary and Adin Horst gave a tour of "What's New" for 2016, which was preceded by a carry in meal.

We saw the marvels of modern planting techniques as demonstrated by Adin. With a large selection of plants we made plans to return April 15 for the opening of the 2016 year at the greenhouse.

The Herb Society will be featuring peppers-capsicum as the herb of the year with many special programs throughout April - December.
