In 1967, Walt Disney released The Jungle Book movie based on Rudyard Kipling’s book. Robert and Richard Sherman wrote the song Trust in Me (The Python’s Song) for the movie release. Kaa, the snake, sings the song to Mowgli to hypnotize him and wrap his coils around him. He is stopped from hurting Mowgli by the tiger Shere Khan.
This part of the movie is a good example of who should we trust? The snake?
Unfortunately, there are some unscrupulous people and businesses in healthcare who should not be trusted. Deception can result in a significant risk to public health.

Answering yes to any of these questions contributes to increased antibiotic resistance, which is a worldwide issue.

Aker reports 2 million sailors died of scurvy between the 16th and 18th centuries. Historians have documented scurvy as causing most suffering throughout history related to vitamin deficiencies.

Why is Pain Awareness Important?
With an increased focus on pain awareness this month, pain management care team members are dedicated to educating the community on the impact of chronic pain. The purpose of highlighting pain awareness is to instill a greater understanding among healthcare professionals, individuals, and families who are struggling with pain management. The same applies to the business community, legislators, and the general public, as pain is a serious public health issue.
