Never doubt a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

The spirit of sharing flexed its muscle this week in Ada.
Thanks to the efforts of the Ada Food Pantry the traditional Fourth of July picnic enjoyed by many of us will be celebrated by all of us.
For the fourth year the pantry board provided its clients with a “basket” of food associated with a summer picnic.
What’s in the basket? You know: hamburgers or hotdogs, buns, potato salad, corn on the cob and watermelon.
The next Sunday buffet at Maple Crest Senior Living of Bluffton is June 22, according to Daren Lee, director of Maple Crest. The buffet menu includes Monterey chicken with salsa, baked herbed salmon, wild rice, a vegetable medley, dinner rolls, strawberry pie and coffee and iced tea.
The buffet is in the Patio Room at Maple Crest from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. It is open to all adults 55 and older at a cost of $7.50 per person.
Due to the overwhelming response, reservations are required for persons who plan to attend. Call Maple Crest at 419-358-1015 for reservations. Limited seating is available.
