To help move showroom inventory

Lima’s Habitat ReStore seeks volunteers to help move its showroom inventory on two February Saturdays.

The move is in preparation of having its retail floor refurbished, according to Mark Suderman of Bluffton, who serves as the store’s volunteer coordinator.

He said that student groups from Bluffton University and Ohio Northern University are among volunteers who have already signed up to assist.

Up to 50 volunteers are needed each morning and afternoon on both Saturdays, Feb. 17 and Feb. 24.

On the 17th inventory will be removed from the store. On the 24th inventory will be returned to the store.

Ohio Northern’s nursing program is ranked 5th in the state among 89 schools that offer nursing degrees. The ranking was determined by RegisteredNursing.org and was based on the pass rate success of students who took the state board examination.

It said this about Ohio Northern’s program:

“Small class sizes, faculty support and post-graduate career support are some of the few attributes of the Ohio Northern University nursing program. A well-balanced BSN or MSN program of theoretical and practical experiences help individuals graduate at the top of the field. Get all the program details by visiting the Ohio Northern University website.”

With six regular season OAC games left on the schedule, the Ohio Northern men’s basketball team is right in the thick of things in the conference title race.

Northern is one of four teams that now have a realistic shot at the conference trophy -- and all are within one game of each other at the top of the OAC standings. John Carroll and Marietta are both 9-3 in the OAC, while Ohio Northern and Baldwin Wallace are both 8-4. Each team has six regular season OAC games left.
