Junior Anthony McFadden (Cillicothe/paint Valley) completed 16-of-26 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown to lead the Ohio Northern football team in a 55-24 loss to No. 1-ranked Mount Union on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
The Polar Bears (5-3 overall, 4-3 Ohio Athletic Conference) also celebrated Homecoming Weekend and Senior Day on Saturday.

Josh Petruccelli also ran 17 times for 105 yards and a score for MtU.
Mount Union scored on its first six possessions, including all four in the first half.
But the Polar Bears also had success on offense, scoring on a 1-yard pass from McFadden to senior Chad Rex(Bradenton, Fla./Lakewood Ranch) and a 38-yard field goal from senior Chase Watson (Lima/Elida) to trail 27-10 at intermission.
Sophomore A.J. Marks (Guysville/Alexander) banged in from 3 yards out on ONU's second possession of the second half to make it 34-17.
After freshman Kedarius Woodfork (Brownsville, Tenn./Haywood) recovered a fumble at the Mt. Union 31, Marks capped the ensuing drive with a 3-yard run and it was 41-24 with 1:57 left in the third.
MtU out-gained ONU 540-318 in total offense and had 11 sacks for 79 yards in losses, resulting in a net of only 82 yards rushing for the Polar Bears.
