FOSTORIA__The Ada High School track and field team qualified one of its two competing athletes to state as both authored strong performances in final events on day two of the Div. V Northwest Region 15 track and field meet at Fostoria Memorial Stadium on Saturday, May 30.
New AHS record of 23 wins; loss to Danville Blue Devils

BELLEFONTAINE__The Ada High School softball team saw its record-setting season come to an end with a 12-2 loss to traditional power Danville in the Div. VI Region 23 semifinal face-off on Thursday evening, May 28 at Bellefontaine’s Blue Jacket Park.
The Blue Devils jumped in front 4-0 after three innings and never trailed. Danville then broke the game open with a four-run fourth frame.
The Ada Board of Education met on Thursday, May 28 with board president Troy Erickson conducting the meeting. Two Ada students addressed council on school policies and the board presented special honors to a business and a student.
HEARING OF THE PUBLIC
Callie Burgess, an Ada High School student, spoke about student parking concerns. She said that students paying for spots do not always have a place to park. She suggested that teachers park in the front of the school and students who do not stay at school all day could park further away from the school.
