The Ohio Northern University Graphic Design Program hosted a poster design workshop on Oct. 21 focusing on the centennial of the ratification of the 19th Amendment.
The 19th Amendment granted women the right to vote. It was the first legislation for women’s voting rights. Not until the passage of the Voting Rights Act in 1965 were voting rights of all women protected and enforced.

The Ohio Northern University School of Visual and Performing Arts will present the musical “Blocked!” from Oct. 29-31 via livestream on freedcenter.com.
Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 29, Oct. 30 and Oct. 31, with a 2 p.m. matinee performance on Oct. 31.
“Blocked!” is the story of four teenagers trying to make connections online at a time when online is the only means they have.
These four teens each face social anxieties and isolation in their own lives that are only exacerbated when schools are shuttered and in-person activities are disbanded.
Ohio Northern University Residence Life will host a drive-thru trick-or-treat event Tuesday, according to Isaiah Bailey.
It takes placed from 5 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 20, and here are the details:
"In order to keep everyone safe and reduce the risk of covid-19 transmission, we will host a drive through trick or treat.
"The community is invited to drive through campus, entering on College Avenue by Cosi, and exiting onto Lima Avenue by the Affinity East Complex.
"Residence Life staff members will line the route, at a minimum of 6 feet apart, and will be dropping prepackaged candy into the bags through the car window using a butterfly net.
