Kendal Guagenti had an untitled still life painting accepted for the Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition to be shown at the James Rhodes Office Tower in Columbus from April 22 until May 17.
Also, Melina Woods and Lyric Jones had paintings selected for two side exhibitions, which will be shown at the same time in the state department in Columbus. Three hundred paintings were chosen for the three shows from 12,000 works.

Ada High School held its winter sports awards banquet Tuesday evening.
Most Valuable athletes in each sport were: Connor Frazier (boys
basketball); Maddie Gossard (girls basketball); Chase Sumner (wrestling);
Zach Beaschler (boys swimming); Klava Katayama (girls swimming); Lyric
Jones and Anabel Alexander (cheerleading).

Ohio Northern standout senior Amy Bullimore (Morrow/Little Miami) has been named Second Team All-Great Lakes Region by D3Hoops.com in women's basketball for the 2017-18 season.
The Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Year was named Second Team All-Great Lakes Region for the second time in her career.
Bullimore capped off her career in historic fashion this season, rewriting the record books at Ohio Northern.
Matthew Kroenig will discuss “The United States/North Korea Nuclear Weapons Impasse: The Way Forward” at 7 p.m. on March 21 in Dicke Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
