There's a parade on Wednesday • Vancrest welcomes a new business office and HR manager • Ruby Holbrook is in the resident spotlight

Ada loves parades, and one next week will be very special.

Vancrest of Ada has a special plan to celebrate National Nursing Home Week on Wednesday. It’s arranging for a drive-through parade on Wednesday, May 13. Here’s how it will work:

• Line up at the Ada school front parking lot from 4 to 4:15 p.m.
• Parade starts through Vancrest of Ada grounds at 4:30 p.m.

Open to the public, participants are invited to decorate their vehicles, honk their horns, make signs, play music, wave and smile.

Vancrest officials ask that participants remain in your cars during the parade. A rain date of Thursday, May 14, is planned on the same time schedule.

It's the season of high school and college graduations and the signs are popping up across Ada, reminding people of this milestone. Here's a sign proclaiming Sydney Hartford will graduate soon from Ohio State.
