Here are the next Responsible RestartOhio dates.

You are invited - Wednesday afternoon

Ada loves parades, and one next week will be very special.

Vancrest of Ada has a special plan to celebrate National Nursing Home Week next week.

It’s arranging for a drive-through parade on Wednesday, May 13. Here’s how it will work:

• Line up at the Ada school front parking lot from 4 to 4:15 p.m.

• Parade starts through Vancrest of Ada grounds at 4:30 p.m.

Open to the public, participants are invited to decorate their vehicles, honk their horns, make signs, play music, wave and smile.

Vancrest officials ask that participants remain in your cars during the parade. A rain date of Thursday, May 14, is planned on the same time schedule.

It's certainly one of Ada's most attractive settings, especially in spring when the trees are blooming. It's the Bowden home on the corner of Main and Lima.

In alignment with state government required safety measures and consistent with CDC guidelines and other community health safeguards

Ohio Northern University will resume in-person, residential education this fall. It will do so in alignment with state government required safety measures and consistent with CDC guidelines and other community health safeguards.

The health and safety of students, faculty and staff are paramount as Ohio Northern engages several work groups to develop a comprehensive safety program based on social distancing in classrooms, labs, residence halls, campus apartments and other facilities; on enhanced and frequent cleaning of spaces and surfaces throughout campus; on increased access to hygiene products and PPE, and on availability of frequent testing and contact tracing.

The Kenton Hardin Health Department is reporting its 27th confirmed case of COVID-19. It is also able to report two new recoveries at this time.

For additional information on re-openings and resources please visit our website as updates will be added later today with an update on our social media when they are available.

There will be a special Board of Health meeting on Tuesday, May 12, at 4 p.m., held via Webex and will be on the department'sFacebook Live for the public.
