Update from Hardin County Health Department
We are trying to share as much information as possible, we are encouraging any business even if essential to consider letting employees work from home, or the option to stay home for their health and safety.
The Sheriff and the Emergency Operations Center is asking for a list of employees that would be essential to your business continuing operations. We can be reached at the EOC number at 419-675-8488.
Preferably a list, and each employee should have a letter from your business stating they are essential in the event they would be stopped.
Because of the evolving situation surrounding COVID-19, Hardin Memorial Hospital-Kenton (OhioHealth) launched a temperature screening process Monday, March 23, at 5 p.m.
Screening stations will be put in place at all entrances.
All OhioHealth associates, care providers, patients and those visitors (who fall under exceptions, i.e., end of life situations) coming into an OhioHealth care site will be required to have their temperature taken as part of the COVID-19 screening process.
If the temperature is above 100 degrees, that person will not be allowed to enter the building.·
Back by popular demand the Ada Music Boosters are kicking off their Good Clean Fundraising Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener Fundraiser. Proceeds will be used to help fund all Ada music programs.
The detergent sale features detergent, fabric softener, and dish soap packaged in a 5-gallon bucket with a pump for easy dispensing. These are high-quality private label products not affiliated with big name brands.
According to the Boosters, they are also selling Pod-Packs of detergent (180 count) and diswasher soap (200 count). All products sell for $45. The detergent and fabric softeners are available in a variety of scents.
In accordance with coronavirus precautions, Ohio Northern University has closed buildings to the public and transitioned to remote instruction, with most students returning to their homes.
The university’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program continues to serve clients, but preparing and reviewing returns have necessarily slowed down.
If your returns have already been prepared, they will be reviewed as soon as possible, and someone will be in touch with you to confirm.
If you have not yet had your returns prepared, there are two ways ONU VITA can still help.
Ken Collins captured this idylic snowfall scene in Ada on Sunday evening. While this scene offers a winter feeling, in truth we are now in the spring of 2020.
