Business request from Sheriff Everhart
Update from Hardin County Health Department
We are trying to share as much information as possible, we are encouraging any business even if essential to consider letting employees work from home, or the option to stay home for their health and safety.
The Sheriff and the Emergency Operations Center is asking for a list of employees that would be essential to your business continuing operations. We can be reached at the EOC number at 419-675-8488.
Preferably a list, and each employee should have a letter from your business stating they are essential in the event they would be stopped.
If the business is essential we ask that you maintain a distance of 6 foot. Limit interaction and group gathering areas. Clean surfaces as often as possible, focusing on hard surfaces and high traffic areas.
Have available hand sanitizer, and allow employees to wash hands as often as possible (recommended every 20-30 minutes).
These recommendations and the order is for the safety of these industries to keep their employees healthy and continue these essential services. If you do not have Continuity of Operations Plans now is the time to develop the plan and determine essential employees to work to keep the business running with as little employees as possible.
I am sharing another document to pass along to businesses to help them with these trying times. We appreciate your help sharing this information.
Thank you,
Kelsey Ralston
