Police Chief Michael Harnishfeger termed Coffee with a Cop on Thursday a success.

There will be more informal chat sessions in various locations in the future, he said.

About 40 people stopped to talk with the officers at McDonald's, both local residents and people passing through town.

Here, buyers look for bargains on Saturday in the yard of the late Richard Elwood, 422 Grand, across from the school.

This auction, which drew mostly men, was called by Charles Wynegar of Bear Realty in Kenton.
