Ada's latest news

Here is the Hardin County Sheriff's log for July 2-3.

Nick Nossaman has been named an assistant men's basketball coach at Ohio Northern.

Nick comes to Ohio Northern after spending the past two seasons at Valdosta State (Ga.) as a graduate assistant, helping the Blazers to a 50-11 record, two Gulf South Conference regular season championships and two NCAA Division II Tournament appearances.

He started his collegiate playing career at Wooster, where he played for two seasons, before transferring to  Otterbein for his final two years of his career.

A missing peice of Ada history came home last week thanks to Mike Snodgrass (left) and his friend, Richard Lee Curry (right). They returned this long lost sign to Ada on June 26. The sign originally posted at an Ada village entrance was stolen. Mike found it in a muddy river bank in West Virginia, and decided return it to Ada. (Eileen Peterman photo)
