Major electrical power outages are causing disruptions in Ada this morning (Monday, Feb. 25).
Portions of the village are without power and late Sunday evening power lines were down on the 500 block of East Lincoln. Those lines have since been secured but power was not able to be restored until the winds subsided, according to a Facebook announcement by the Ada police department.
Ada schools are closed due to lack of power. In addition, the following message was released by the village at 8:39 a.m.:

High winds causing power outages in Ada has affected the Ada schools. At 5:45 a.m., according to Ohio Alerts, Ada cancelled school because the power is out.
