Liberty Township received 4.19 inches of rain from April 15 to 30, according to Phil Epley, who reports township rain received to the OSU extension office.
Extension rainfall reporters recorded an average of 4.08 inches of rain in Hardin County during that period.

Last year, the average rainfall for the same time period was 1.56 inches. Rainfall for the April 15-30 time period is 1.92 inches more than the 10-year average rainfall during the same dates.
Cessna Township received 5.08 inches for the April 15-30 time period, the most of any of the township sites.

The Ada municipal swimming pool opens for the season on Saturday, May 25. It will also be on on Sunday, May 26, and Memorial Day, May 27. It will reopen for a "midnight swim," from 8 p.m. to midnight on Tuesday, May 28, which is the last day of school for Ada.
Season admission follows:
$60 season pass for individuals
$225 for family (two adults and three children)
$20 for each additional family member up – limit 4 additional
Ada residents and Ada income taxpayers receive a $10 discount on individual passes and a $25 discount on family passes.

The 2019 Ada High School alumni banquet is Saturday, June 1, in the school cafeteria, according to Taylor Osburn, alumni association president.
The schedule of events follows:
• 4:30 p.m. - Registration/reception
• 5:30 p.m. - Dinner catered by The Plaza Inn of Mt. Victory
• 6:30 p.m. - Alumni program
During the program, Donald Spar, Class of 1977, will be inducted into the Hall of Honors. The Alumni Scholarship Award will also be presented to Raina England, 2019 graduating Ada Senior.
The popular Ada High School Spring Fever Follies will be held Friday, May 17, at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.
This year’s Follies, titled "Kings and Queens," features music from the past to the present day by the legends of music.
Musical styles range from pop and rock to musical theatre with students performing solos and large ensemble numbers.
Graduating senior choir members will be recognized during the program. For the fifth year Ada Junior Varsity Singers will be a part of the Spring Fever Follies.
Forty Junior Varsity Singers members in grades 1-7 will perform three choreographed numbers.
