Mike and Beth Milks' home and The Inn at ONU

The Candy Cane Tour of Homes sponsored by Keep Hardin County Beautiful features two Ada locations and five places in Kenton this year.

Decorated in their finest holiday adornment will be:
• Mike and Beth Milks' home, 424 S. Johnson St.
• The Inn at Ohio Northern University.

Presale tickets for the 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, event are available at The Inn (866-713-4513) and New Leaf in Kenton (419-674-2747) for $10. Tickets the day of the tour are $15.

Varsity Singer exhibition is free

The long-running and popular Ada High School Music Feast is set for Saturday, Nov. 4, in the school auditorium.

The show choir competition begins with River Valley at 9:30 a.m. Ada Varsity Singers perform at 1:45 p.m. Evening finals competition begins at 5:30 p.m. Awards will be handed out at 9 p.m.

Seven of the top show choirs in the state will be here. Each show choir of singer/dancers performs a set of songs between 15-20 minutes in length.
Tickets for the 40th annual Music Feast are available at the door.

The Ada Public Library Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting  to discuss personnel issues at 2:45 p.m. at the Ada Library, Wednesday, Nov. 1.
 

The streetlights in the streetscape district downtown are being changed to LED lighting which will reduce electric costs and maintenance.
