First, there was a two-hour fog delay this morning at Ada schools.
Then, at approximately 11 a.m. a gas regulator was broken resulting in a precautionary evacuation of the buildings. Emergency personnel were dispatched, according to the Ada schooll e-mail alert system.
The problem was fixed. All students are safely back in class at this time.

Booth space and parade entries are being accepted for this year’s Ada Area Chamber of Commerce’s 31st annual Harvest and Herb Festival, according to David Dellifield, festival director.

This year’s festival is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17, in downtown Ada.
The festival is open to the public with no admission charge. Proceeds are used to promote Ada chamber activities during the year.
Ada Kiwanis Club will offer two bicycles at a raffle during the Saturday, Sept. 17, Harvest and Herb Festival. Tickets are available from club members and will be available on Sept. 17.
An annual Kiwanis event in the planning stages are the annual Halloween parade.
