ARCADIA– The visiting Ada baseball team beat Arcadia 8-5 in a non-league contest Saturday morning.

Ada improved to 6-13 with their second non-league road win over a BVC foe in as many days. Arcadia fell to 6-16 with the loss.

ARCADIA– The visiting Ada High School softball team lost 8-3 at Arcadia in a non-league contest Saturday morning.

Ada fell to 16-5 overall after their second straight road loss. Arcadia improved to 11-6 after the win.

The Bulldog track and field teams competed at the annual 16-team Ada Invitational meet Saturday, May 6.

Van Wert won the girls team crown, while Kenton took first in the boys standings.

The Bulldog girls finished in a tie for 13th with Allen East, while the Bulldog boys came in a solid eighth.

Junior Jackson Brown took first in the boys 110-meter high hurdles in 15.73 to pace Ada.

Bulldog sophomore Logan Jolliff took third in the 100-meter dash.

Junior Mariah King ended up fifth in the 300 hurdles to post the top Ada girls finish.

VANLUE–The visiting Ada High School baseball team jumped to a huge early lead and run-ruled Vanlue 16-1 in a non-conference game Friday, May 5.

The Bulldog boys improved to 5-13 overall with the convincing five-inning win. The Wildcats fell to 0-13 with the blowout defeat.

VANLUE–The visiting Ada softball team lost 14-4 at Vanlue in a non-league game Friday evening, May 5.

Missing three starters, the Bulldogs dropped to 16-4 with the five-inning defeat. 

Vanlue improved to 7-9 after the run-rule shortened win.

BRYAN–The Ada High School tennis team finished third in the four-team Northern Buckeye Tennis League tournament at Bryan Friday, May 5.

Maumee Valley won the team title.
