LIMA SHAWNEE - The Ada Alligator swim team finished its regular season by posting victories in the boys and combined dual meets column at West Ohio Aquatic League foe Shawnee Monday evening.
The Gator boys won while the Ada girls lost their dual meet by undisclosed scores. The Alligators narrowly won the combined team meet by a score of 379-359.
The Ada boys improved to 4-3 in dual meets with the win, while the girls dropped to 2-5 following the loss.

The Ohio Northern women's tennis team continued to show its dominance in the Ohio Athletic Conference as it posted its seventeenth upper-division OAC finish during the 2017-18 campaign under the watch of 17th-year head coach Scott Wills.
Mackenzie Wills, Ada High School grad and ONU sophomore, finished 23-7 in singles, including 7-1 in the OAC. In doubles, she posted a 20-10 record, including 6-2 in the OAC.
The Polar Bears finished second in the OAC standings for the third consecutive season, and finished in the top-2 of the OAC standings for the eighth straight season.
ADA - The Ada Alligator boys and girls swim teams swept a dual meet against visiting West Ohio Aquatic League foe Sherwood Thursday evening at the Ada pool.
The Gator boys won by a convincing 292-60 score. Meanwhile, the Ada girls were victorious by a 203-138 count. Ada won the combined meet team score, 495-198.
The Alligator boys improved to 3-3 with the win while the Gator girls upped their summer season record to 2-4 with the victory.
As for their combined dual meet team record, the Alligators improved to 3-3 with the decisive triumph.
The 2017-18 season proved to be a season of growth for the Ohio Northern men's tennis team as it took a big step forward under the direction of second-year head coach Mike Bonnell.
The Polar Bears finished the season with a 15-9 record, its first winning season since the 2013-14 season and the most wins the program has posted since the 2012-13 season.
ONU also finished in third in the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 6-2 mark, the highest it has finished in the OAC since 2012-13.
