The Ohio Northern men's golf team continued its winning ways during the 2016-17 campaign as it posted its third consecutive winning season under fourth-year head coach Chad Bucci.

Northern posted a record-setting performance at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships as seniors Tyler Davis (Liberty Center) and Blaine Ricketts (Belle Center/Ben Logan) earned All-Conference honors to lead Ohio Northern to a fourth place finish at the championships.

Ohio Northern's 54-hole score of 903 was one shot better then the school record 904 set in 2008.

Both Davis and Rickets earned All-OAC honors for the second time in their careers.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Junior Emily Richards (Delaware/Hayes) set a new Div. III record in the 800-meter run and junior Matt Molinaro (Sterling Heights, Mich./DeLaSalle) set a new school record in the 800-meter run on Saturdayafternoon at the Music City Distance Carnival.

Richards, who owned the previous Div. III record in the 800-meter run, broke her own record by nearly two seconds as she finished third overall in the event in 2:00.62.

The junior also automatically qualified for the United States Track & Field Championships in Sacramento, Cal. and will compete in the 800-meter run.

The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team showed a great amount of growth during the second year of the program in 2017 under 2nd-year head coach Beth Hemminger.

Although Northern posted a 3-13 record overall, the Polar Bears saw tremendous improvement in only the programs second season as a varsity sport.

Sophomore Emily Hershberger (Jackson Township/Jackson) was named Honorable Mention All-Ohio Athletic Conference for her efforts on the field in 2017.

Junior Chelsea Cousins (Lewis Center/Olentangy) earned Academic All-OAC honors for the Polar Bears.
