Despite a solid game from Bulldog quarterback Seth Conley, a late Ethan O'Connor touchdown gave Lima Central Catholic a lead they would not relinquish as the visiting Thunderbirds defeated the Ada Bulldogs 22-20. The tough, non-conference loss was Ada's first, dropping their season record to 2-1.

Both teams showed offensive fireworks early on, scoring 36 of the game's combined 42 points in the first half. LCC struck first as T-Bird quarterback O'Connor connected with Sammy Santaguida on a 31-yard scoring strike with just over five minutes to play in the first. The extra point was blocked, leaving LCC with the 6-0 lead.

Dump your Bronco jersey...and the Bears' jersey.

As of Sept. 6, Zac Dysert is now a Houston Texan.

The Texans signed Dysert to their practice squad one day after placing quarterback Tom Savage on injured reserve with a severely sprained shoulder.

Dysert was cut by the Broncos during the preseason when he was beaten out by rookie Trevor Siemian and was briefly with the Chicago Bears.

Here's his Chicago story:

Chicago Bears backup quarterback Jimmy Clausen had a concussion and the team made a move to give themselves some more help at the position.

Two late Ada touchdowns secured a tightly contested non-conference win as the visiting Bulldogs defeated the Arlington Red Devils 28-14.

Despite a paltry 54 yards of total offense, two second half defensive touchdowns kept Arlington in the game. Aaron Everhart's pick six with under two minutes to play sealed the game for the Dogs, upping their season record to 2-0.
