Looks like it will be a super hero summer at the Ada Public Library. The summer reading kick-off is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 30. The event includes face painting, touch-a-truck, 4-H animals on display, summer reading sign-up sheets and a used book sale. Watch the Icon for more details.

Ada High School’s cast and crew of Oklahoma! were recognized May 12 at the 6th Annual TAB (Take a Bow) awards at Riverdale High School Auditorium. 

The Hardin County Players recognizes local theater in several captions. The cast and crew of Oklahoma! were nominated in the following categories:

Ada High School's annual senior honors banquet took place May 13.

A host of seniors were honored, as well as several teachers. Several scholarships were announced.

The following students were honored either by the teachers or the community:

A soccer workshop takes place Friday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the Ada Park on the U15 field. Players ages 11 and older are welcome to attend. It will be run by Mark Olah.
