Fifty years ago this week a new library opened in Ada. It was the Heterick Memorial Library on the Ohio Northern University campus. It began with ground breaking ceremonies in August 1966. In February 1968, students helped to carry the library's collection from Presser Hall to the new building, as shown in this photo. The 50-year celebration takes place at 1 p.m., Wednesday.
