The second annual community park sing, sponsored by the Hardin County Gospel Association takes place at the Ada Park, starting at noon on Saturday, June 29.

A free-will offering will be takenn and food service will be available.

The Ada First United Methodist Church kids will hold a bake goods and toy sale from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 11. The event is at the Liberty National Bank and future church site. 

Proceeds will go toward the fund to build the congregation's new church building.

 

Ada Grace Gospel Church will hold a Harlan's chicken barbecue from 4:30 to 7 p.m., Thursday, April 18, at the church. 

Tickets are $7.50 each and are available by calling 419-634-2554. Drive through or walk-ins are available.

The Ada area churches will gather for a meal at the Church of Christ-Disciples church on 316 S. Main St. at 6 p.m., Friday, March 29, according to Rev. Dave Coffin, pastor and Ada Ministerial Association president.

At 7 p.m. there will be a worship service of reading of the Passion of Christ, prayer, and a guest singer for music ministry. The community is invited to join us at 6:00 p.m. for the meal, and/or the Worship Service at 7:00 p.m.

St. Mark Lutheran Church is hosting their monthly free community meal on Wednesday March 27, from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the church.

All are welcome.

Summer Vacation Bible School at St. Mark Lutheran Church will at June 10-14, according to David Coffin, pastor.
