Vacation Bible School continues through Friday at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Ada.
Here's an update on activities:
• On Monday, we heard about the Mountain of Moses and the 10 Commandments. We had crafts. There is a sandbox there. Even though it rained, there was plenty of helpers and places to play and do craft projects.
• Tuesday, Elijah is on the Mount Carmel with the Baal gods!
• Wednesday is Mount Transfiguration Day.
• Thursday is the Golgotha Mountaint where Jesus was crucified.
• Friday, is the Mountain where Jesus gives us all the “Great Commission.”
First Baptist Church of Ada, 305 W North Avenue will host vacation bible school June 24 through June 28.
SonWest Roundup is open to kids 4 years old through the 6th grade (in the 2013-2014 school year) and will meet daily that week from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Registration available at church office or from 5:45 p.m.-6:00 pm during VBS week.
The second annual community park sing, sponsored by the Hardin County Gospel Association takes place at the Ada Park, starting at noon on Saturday, June 29.

A free-will offering will be takenn and food service will be available.
The Ada First United Methodist Church kids will hold a bake goods and toy sale from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 11. The event is at the Liberty National Bank and future church site.
Proceeds will go toward the fund to build the congregation's new church building.
