An Ada premier - Friday evening - it's the Varsity Singers!

After a week-long summer camp Ada High School's Varsity Singers present their 2016-17 show premier performance.

It's at 7 p.m., Friday, July 15, in the Ada school auditorium and is open to the publicc.

"Love is in the Air" is the show theme.

Under the direction of their new vocal director, Scott Henning, instrumental director, Jonathan Lischak, and new choreographer Zach Triscari, the Singers will compete at Piqua, Findlay, Medina, Marion Harding, Marysville, as well as host their annual Music Feast show choir competition this school year.

Grand opening July 23 for two businesses sharing 220 N. Main St.

Ada’s newest North Main Street business is actually two businesses, operated by one family:
• Streamline Insurance Solutions
• Wine and Design

The two businesses relocated from South Main Street to 220 N. Main St. earlier this spring and plan a Saturday, July 23, grand opening from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will feature door prizes, a food truck, an opportunity to meet the staff and a special visit from Cinderella, compliments of "Art Me!" a traveling paint and party studio from Ottawa.

Meet Jennifer Kolb - one of the voices of WONB-FM

It's nice to put a face with a voice. Here's Jennifer Kolb, one of the on-air personalities at WONB-FM.

Kolb, a junior from Clayton, Ohio, is a sports management major and media minor. WONB is at 94.9 on the FM dial. Its request line is 419-772-1194 and email address is [email protected].

WONB is a non-commercial, educational radio station. Licensed to Ohio Northern University, it serves a potential audience of over 325,000 people in West Central Ohio.

Your invitation to be in the Aug. 12 Arlington village festival parade

The Arlington Village Festival is Friday and Saturday, Aug. 12-13.

One of the events is a parade and area organizations and businesses are invited to participate. The parade is at 6 p.m., Friday, Aug 12. Line up starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Arlington elevator lot and in front of the Arlington High School.

Junior Weihrauch, who directs the Bluffton Blaze of Lights parade, is the Arlington parade director. He invites local groups to participate and the an application form is attached to this story.
