Superheros soar overhead at Alger Public Library summer reading program
Friends of the Alger Public Library (FrAPL) led the first of three children’s programs at McGuffey Church of Christ and Roundhead United Methodist Church last week.
A total of 12 participants enjoyed the theme of Super Heroes by choosing capes and making masks, participating in a dramatic story, getting their photos taken as they flew over the city, playing corn hole and topping it all off with a Coke float.
The next meeting is at the McGuffey Church of Christ from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30 and July 7, and inRoundhead at the United Methodist Church from 11 a.m. to noon on July 3 and 10.
Lots of fun is still in store for everyone, so come on out to either location. We have special prizes for those who bring the most guests, so grab your super friends and join us," said Marissa Osborne.
