Terry Craft, 1955-2015
Terry L. Craft, age 60, died on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 4:27 p.m. in Kenton. He was born on April 29, 1955 in Lima to Virgil Craft and Barbara A. (Allen) Pitts. His father survives in Winnamac, IN and his mother survives in Alger.
Terry retired from Perry Schools where he was a teacher. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War from August 17, 1972 to January 20, 1975. He was a member of the New Birth Living Word Ministries, Inc, Alger. He was a member of the McGuffey Conservation Club and the Lima Eagles Post #370.
Also surviving are a brother, Larry (Hope) Craft of Chickamauga, GA; two sisters: Linda (Toby) Prichard of Alger and Sandy (Joe) Roark of Jackson, KY; and his dog Eddie.
He was preceded in death by an infant son; a brother, Timothy Craft; a stepfather, Adam Pitts.
Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor Wayne T. Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger with graveside military services conducted by the Ada VFW Post #9381 Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
