Beatrice "Bea" Bolen was retired from Wilson Sporting Goods
Beatrice “Bea” Bolen, 88, died on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 at 1:10 a.m. at Kenton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Kenton.
She was born June 5, 1927, in Hardin County, Ohio, to Tom and Stella (Wright) Puckett who preceded her in death. On Aug. 20, 1946, she married Tivis Bolen who died on July 20, 1999.
Bea retired after working 30 years for Wilson Sporting Goods, Ada . She attended the Alger Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons: Kelly Bolen of Pittsburgh, Pa., Ronald (Gale) Bolen of Alahambra, Ill., and Tom Bolen of Lima; a daughter, Erna (Rodney) Seabert of Kenton; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; a brother, Carl (Melba) Puckett of Ada; and Betty Lou Bolen of McGuffey.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Sammy Edward Bolen and Dennis James Bolen.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Rev. David Trusty officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hardin County Senior Center, Kenton.
