Trendy in Ada
Photo and story by Monty Siekerman
It's hot. It's trendy. It's in Ada.
Zumba is a dance-fitness health program that burns calories at the rate of 500 to 1,000 an hour, a cardio workout, and helps tone muscles...all in a fun way that anyone can do.
Zumba also builds confidence. Pictured are Hillary Holmes (right), licensed instructor, and Joanna Craig and Kari Potter "working out" at Health Trends. The class meets at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays, costing only $5 per session.
The music? Latin, ragee, country, you name it. Zumba is for men and women of all ages. Interested in better health? Just go and try a class.
