Dr. Tom Gossel returned to the ONU campus last week to speak to students about the profession of pharmacy and his career experiences.

Dr. Gossel told students that he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do after high school, but through the direction and kindness of several people, he discovered ONU and pharmacy – it was a perfect pairing.

After graduating from Ohio Northern in 1963, he went on to become a professor, and eventually Dean at the Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy.

He said he felt at home immediately at ONU, and he, “Never had a bad day as Dean.” He provided lots of insight to the class and encouraged students to consider a career in education because it was such a rewarding career path for him. (From ONU College of Pharmacy Facebook)
