KALIDA - The Ada cross country team competed at the Wildcat Invitational Saturday morning, with five harriers posting personal-best times at the Kalida Fish and Game Club course.
The Lady Bulldogs finished ninth out of 11 teams while the Ada boys came in 17th out of 19 squads.
"The boys ran with four other conference schools; we fell a little behind Bluffton who took 14th place, while recently defeated Allen East did not have enough boys to place in order to compare our two teams," said Ada coach Josh Klein.
Napoleon won the boys team title with just 23 points to easily out-distance Columbus Grove (111) and Ottawa-Glandorf (117). The Ada boys tallied 495 points.
Jacob Fellers of Napoleon won the boys individual race in a time of 16:23.
