Reps from over 100 organizations at ONU job fair
Representatives from than 100 organizations were on hand Friday to talk with ONU students about their plans after college.
The fair was designed for students seeking both full and part-time employment as well as co-ops, internships, and admission to graduate and professional schools.
Here, Conner Fleck (left), a mechanical engineering major, chats with Jason Luthman, an ONU ME grad from 2016 who is now with Marathon Petroleum Company.
Marathon, of nearby Findlay, has been a recruiter of ONU graduates for many years as well as a provider of internships and co-ops. The company has been generous in its donations to ONU, as well.
Justin Courtney (right) is director of ONU Polar Careers. He reports that 94 percent of last year's graduates found employment or enrolled in graduate school within 6 months of graduation.
He organized the event, which included an opportunity for ONU students to meet with as many recruiters as they wanted to in the Sports Center. After lunch in King-Horn, students could have one-on-one interviews with prospective employers or grad school reps.
