Robert "Sandy" "Red" Anspach, 1960 - 2017
Robert Sandy "Red" Anspach, age 57, died on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 1:38 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima after an extended illness.
He was born on June 18, 1960 to Walter D. "Red" and Darlene (Yinger) Anspach.
His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Ocala, Florida.
In December of 1984 Sandy married Cindy Crozier and she survives in Harrod.
Sandy retired from the U.S. Navy where he served as a senior chief officer for twenty years.
After his retirement from the Navy, Sandy worked for Setez in St. Marys for ten years.
He was a 1978 graduate of Ada High School.
He was a member of the Ada VFW Post #9381.
Sandy enjoyed working on cars, antiques and gardening.
Also surviving are his daughters: Savannah Grace Anspach and Cierra Rose Anspach both at home; a brother Don A. Anspach of Niceville, FL; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Jerry and Jean Anne Dearth of Ada.
It was his request to be cremated, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ada VFW Post #9381.
